The Spaghetti Tree

We have just finished a very exciting project at Stocksbridge Nursery Infant School in Sheffield. Throughout the project we worked with 20 children, aged between six and seven years, to help them turn their story ideas into an animated film. The project involved story development, story boarding, drawing, painting, making models, props and sets, animation, sound recording, music and photography. The children were fantastic and created some wonderful characters. Everything in this film was made out of cardboard and as well as animating the models, we moved the camera 5mm each take to create a visually rich moving camera effect. This film project was funded by First Light Movies. Visit the Stocksbridge Filmmakers Blog to find out more detail about each stage of the project.
